  8. Bomb! is an off-line message reader capable of keeping a message base.
  9. It can handle many formats thanks to external import and export filters:
  10. Internet mail is handled by POP3 and SMTP filters, and the QWK message
  11. format for BBS messages is supported, together with some special format for
  12. some italian BBS's (Amp, McLink, Agora`).
  13.  
  14. These are some of Bomb!'s characteristics:

  16. - Handling of many email/BBS mailboxes.
  17.  
  18. - Each mailing list (or particular sender) can be kept in its own area.

  20. - The GUI uses MUI libraries, and is thus fully configurable by the user and
  21.   can open on any public screen.

  25. - Fully localized program and filters.

  27. - Users list with optional auto learning.

  29. - Automatic deletion of old messages (optional).

  34. - Commands for sequential or logical reading of messages (in BBS's which
  35.   support threads).

  37. - String search in messages with highlighting of the string itself in the
  38.   messages where it is found.

  42. - Rewrapping of quoting at the desired column; quoting highlighting.

  44. - Multiple message addressees.

  46. - Automatic decrunching of message packets.

  52. - Sent messages can be kept in a special area.

  62. supported formats are AMP, MCLink, Agorà, QWK and POP3/SMTP.
